Ashley’s story:

I sought out Angela and FAFW upon the suggestion of a fertility doctor who thought acupuncture would be a good complement to the fertility treatments I was undergoing to reduce stress and improve blood flow.

Before seeing Angela, I was feeling stressed with life generally and scared that I would never get pregnant due to a low ovarian reserve.

Angela’s approach goes beyond traditional acupuncture and addresses the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and spirit, offering a more comprehensive healing experience that I never thought existed.

The first time I met with Angela I was like an ice cube, completely disconnected.  My mind, spirit, and body all functioned as separate entities. I now feel these parts are connected. I feel whole again and I am so grateful to Angela for that. My desired result - the reason I initially saw Angela - was that I wanted to get pregnant. Now, I have a healthy, delicious baby. Yet, I continue to see Angela as she has opened me up to the possibilities of achieving a life I truly want, beyond the initial reason for my visit.

I would describe my experience as one where I became and am becoming fully embodied.

Before meeting with Angela, I didn’t think about my emotions, body, and mind being interconnected, but since working with her, I am experiencing life more fully and that feels grounding. I only wish I had started working with her sooner!

The journey matters so much and we only get to the desired result by living purposefully and holistically. I only realized this while working with Angela. I used to be so results-oriented and type A. Historically I would try to force the outcome I wanted, but since visiting FAFW, I have been able to take a step back and reevaluate my life and my processes so I can live authentically and manifest my desired outcome organically. 

Angela is a friend, therapist, mentor, spiritual guide, guru, and trendsetter - and, of course, an acupuncturist. While she heals physically with acupuncture, she also provides emotional and spiritual support so that her patients can find their true purpose - she helps them realize what they want in life and teaches them how to get it.

Before I met Angela I would have said that fertility means the ability to conceive and produce, but it’s much bigger than that. Now, I know fertility means having an openness and willingness to embrace life beyond reproduction. Fertility is also about creativity, growth, and abundance.
